Membership in APA is open to all companies and individuals who are professionally involved in the audiobook industry.

Regular Members

CATEGORY 1 - Audio publishers having more than $20 million in gross sales volume during the most recent fiscal year.

CATEGORY 2 - Audio publishers having between $10 and $20 million in gross sales volume during the most recent fiscal year.

CATEGORY 3 - Audio publishers having between $5 and $10 million in gross sales volume during the most recent fiscal year;

CATEGORY 4 - Audio publishers having between $1 and $5 million in gross sales volume during the most recent fiscal year; and

CATEGORY 5 - Audio publishers having less than $1 million in gross sales volume during the most recent fiscal year.

Affiliate Members

LARGE RETAILERS - Audio book retailers having more than $1 million in gross revenue during the most recent fiscal year;

SMALL RETAILERS - Audio book retailers having less than $1 million in gross revenue during the most recent fiscal year;

LARGE SUPPLIERS - Suppliers to audio book publishers and/or retailers, having more than $5 million in gross revenue during the most recent fiscal year;

MEDIUM SUPPLIERS - Suppliers to audio book publishers and/or retailers, having between $1 and $5 million in gross revenue during the most recent fiscal year;

SMALL SUPPLIERS - Suppliers to audio book publishers and/or retailers, having less than $1,000,000 in gross revenue during the most recent fiscal year;

INDIVIDUAL INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS - Individuals working in the audio publishing industry, other than Voice Talent;

VOICE TALENT - Individuals providing voice talent for audio books; and

LIBRARIANS - Individuals employed or serving as audiobook librarians.

MEDIA - Publications that provide a service to publishers
