The Audio Publishers Association will host an audiobook dinner at the Public Library Association in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Thursday, March 27, 2008, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The dinner will take place in the Hilton Minneapolis Hotel Grand Ballroom. We are delighted with the panel that will entertain our guests. Speakers will be author Jacqueline Winspear (BBC Audiobooks America/Macmillan Audio), narrator Scott Brick (Books on Tape/Random House) and producer Dan Musselman (Books on Tape/Random House). They will be discussing their experiences with audiobooks and working in this industry. There are still tickets available – to order fax the Advance Registration Form to 312-280-1538. Please note on the form - Exhibitor - meal tickets only.

Publishers are encouraged to bring items for placement in 500 "goodie bags" for attendees.

On Wednesday evening March 26th we will have a “goodie bag” stuffing party starting at 6:30 pm in Director Row 2 (on the 3rd floor of the Hilton Minneapolis hotel). Publishers who are sending materials for inclusion are encouraged to send a representative to assist with the “goodie bag” creation. This is truly a case of many hands making light and fun work!
